Clean Energy Contractor Incubator Program (IL) Notice of Funding Opportunity Intent The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (the “Department” or “DCEO”) is issuing this Notice of Funding Opportunity to fund proposals establishing a network of Clean Energy Contractor Incubators. It is Illinois’ goal to increase business opportunities for clean energy contractors and nonprofits located in areas impacted by economic, social, and environmental challenges. This funding opportunity is targeting the following Hub locations/areas: Waukegan, Champaign, Danville, Carbondale, East St. Louis, and Alton. Funding Total amount of funding expected to be awarded through this NOFO is up to $21,000,000 for the first 12 months of the awards. Awards will range from $500,000 to $2,500,000 million for the delivery of the Clean Energy Contractor Incubator Program in each region. The Department expects to make at least 13 awards for though this NOFO.Eligibility
