Christopher Ripp Early Learning Program

A comprehensive early learning initiative created through a $1 million gift to provide academic enrichment, remediation assistance, and family support programs for pre-K3 and pre-K4 students in Catholic schools.

Geographic Scope: Initially piloted at St. Peter School in Danbury, CT; Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools

• Early childhood education (ages 3-4)

• Wrap-around services to existing pre-K3 and pre-K4 programs

• Assist parents as primary educators
• Support social, physical, emotional, and academic growth
• Create faith-filled and family-centered learning community
• Provide tuition assistance for state readiness program enrollment
• Support enrollment in parochial pre-K3 and pre-K4 programs

Eligible Participants:

• Three and four-year-old children
• Parents/guardians seeking educational support and guidance
• Families needing tuition assistance
