Charles J. Lewin Interfaith Scholarship Grant

The Charles J. Lewin Interfaith Scholarship, established by the SouthCoast Community Foundation, aims to support high school seniors and adults from Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, and Plymouth counties in Massachusetts pursuing higher education. This scholarship considers financial need (50%), academic performance (30%), and personal circumstances (20%). Since 1995, the foundation has facilitated over $50 million in funding to enhance educational opportunities and improve community welfare.

To date, the organization has distributed over $50 million from more than 200 funds to humanitarian, educational, and cultural organizations in the region.
The Charles J Lewin Interfaith Scholarship Fund of the SouthCoast Community Foundation was established to encourage seniors of Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, and Plymouth counties of Massachusetts to attend college. This scholarship is weighted 50% on financial need, 30% on academic performance, and 20% on personal circumstance.

Eligibility

Who Should Apply:

• High school seniors pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree or certificate program.
• College students pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree or certificate program.
• Adults returning to school to pursue a certificate or earn an undergraduate or advanced degree.
