Internet Society Foundation At the Internet Society Foundation, we focus on funding initiatives that strengthen the Internet in function and reach so that it can effectively serve all people. Our work advances the vision of the Internet Society (ISOC): The Internet is For Everyone. To this end, we support efforts to ensure that the Internet is open, globally-connected, secure, and trustworthy. We champion the use of the network as a critical technical infrastructure that can bring communities better education, healthcare and economic opportunity among other important areas of focus. We believe that by working together, we can use the Internet to shape a better future for us all and positively impact humanity worldwide. Chapter Admin Funding The Chapter Admin Funding program offers annual funding to support Internet Society chapters to manage their day-to-day activities and to maximize their effectiveness. CGCF Program Objectives Strengthen chapter and administrative operations Assist chapters in maintaining their status as formal legal entities Improve chapter performance Contribute to maintaining an active and dynamic chapter community What Do We Support The areas supported by Chapter Admin Funding fall into six categories: Local chapter registration renewal costs General admin support Membership management Website development with hosting General Assembly Marketing, publicity, and branding For the full list of supported activities under each of these six categories, please refer to the List of Costs. Additionally, $5,000 USD in add-on funding for mission-related activities is available for the organization of events and projects that are included in the Chapter’s Action Plan (events related to Global Encryption Day and Safer Internet Day may be included). Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Chapter Admin Funding is available to Internet Society chapters only. Chapters must also meet the following criteria: Chapter is in good standing (or pre-rejuvenation – on a case-by-case basis) and meet the minimum Chapter standards as outlined in the Chapter’s Charter Letter.Chapter undergoing a rejuvenation process cannot be considered.Chapter has submitted all required funding reports from previous years.Chapter has an official bank account in its name according to the local legal registration.

Ineligibility

The following activities are NOT supported by Chapter Admin Funding: Travel costs for chapter officers, Board members or chapter membersCompensation of chapter officers for voluntary engagementTravel for ISOC staff
