Application Requirements
All applications must be received by the stated deadlines and must include:
1. CHAoC Research Proposal Cover Sheet — signed by PI's division director
2. Research Proposal — maximum 3 pages (single space, Arial font, size 11), not including citations; must be submitted as one PDF
- Note: Proposals that do not adhere to these guidelines will not be reviewed
- Required Elements:
- Abstract
- Specific Aims
- Innovation and Clinical Impact
- Methods and Data Sources Summary
- Prospects for Future Funding
- Citations (limited to 10)
3. Detailed Budget — illustrating how funding will be apportioned for:
- Personnel
- Supplies
- Equipment
- Faculty salary and equipment costs can be included or excluded as desired
- NO indirect costs should be included
- As the grant is a catalyst for larger funding sources, indirect costs will not be supported
4. NIH-Style Biosketch — for the investigator
- Limited to 4 pages
- Must include all current and pending support from all sponsored and non-sponsored sources
Investigator Requirements
- Department and Divisional Affiliation: Investigators' department and divisional affiliation must be listed
- Principal Investigator: At least one faculty member must be listed as principal investigator
