Vision Children and families receive the help they need to overcome abuse, addiction and poverty so they can have a brighter future.Public safety providers have the skills and equipment needed to protect and save lives.Families are provided a solid foundation through faith based programs. Geographic Focus Barry County, MissouriCabell County, West VirginiaJackson & Josephine Counties, Oregon To support the Mission and Vision of the Robert & Frances Chaney Family Foundation grants are awarded in the areas of human services, public safety and faith based programs.

Eligibility

The Foundation will only make grants to organizations whose projects or programs exclusively benefit the residents of: Jackson & Josephine Counties, Oregon; Barry County, Missouri and Cabell County, West Virginia.Organizations requesting support for programs in Oregon and Missouri can submit a grant proposal request up to $10,000.Organizations requesting support for programs in West Virginia can submit a grant proposal request up to $15,000.The average grant size for all counties in our geographic focus area is $6,000.Grant applications will be accepted only from tax-exempt agencies.The Foundation awards grants in five strategic areas:Faith Based ProgramsHuman ServicesOther Charitable CausesPublic SafetyYouth EnrichmentPreviously successful grant applicants are eligible to apply for funding every 12 months.
