Overview

Guidelines Microgrants help fund nonprofit staff and board member trainings and professional development programs of choice. Microgrants are strategic investments in people and organizations to be used to defray the cost of attending programs that are targeted at improving the management, governance and leadership of the applicant organization. Microgrants may be used for conferences and training expenses, as well as for travel costs associated with attending the conference/training. The maximum grant amount awarded per organization is $2,000, and the organization must pay no less than 20 percent of the total cost of the training.
