AAHPM Next Gen Scholars for Equity in HPM Program
Focus: Leadership development, innovation, and deepening understanding in hospice and palliative care for early-career individuals from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups in the field.

Eligibility
- AAHPM Annual Assembly sponsorship: Participation in premier event with networking, cutting-edge educational sessions, and latest advancements in the field
- Scholarly project presentation: Work with sponsor to produce project to be presented at Annual Assembly
- Outstanding project award: AAHPM recognizes and presents award to scholar with most outstanding project
- In-person meeting sponsorship: Sponsored meeting with sponsor to expand knowledge and connect with peers
- AAHPM Membership: Full access to Academy resources, research, and supportive community
- Quarterly support: Quarterly Zoom meetings with all scholars and sponsors
- Organizational support and resources: AAHPM provides ongoing support
