CFGG: Future Fund Grant

Future Fund, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, has been dedicated to supporting local nonprofits for the past 25 years. Future Fund was established to engage young professionals in Guilford County in philanthropy and the grantmaking process. During this time, it has awarded over $660,000 in grants to more than 70 organizations.
Guided by the values of Innovation and Impact, this year’s grantmaking focus is Economic Mobility. Our grants focus on economic mobility will support initiatives that empower individuals and communities to achieve long-term financial stability and upward economic progress. We seek to fund programs that enhance financial literacy, expand access to capital, foster workforce development, and promote wealth-building opportunities.

Through careful research, Future Fund identifies nonprofits best positioned to create meaningful, lasting change in the community. Each year, the program distributes $60,000 in grants, typically awarding one-year grants ranging from $2,000 to $20,000.

Eligibility

Your application aligns with the field of interest identified for this year: Economic MobilityApplicant must be a nonprofit organization with 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status as defined by Internal Revenue Service located in and serving Guilford County.Organization must spend no more than 5% of your budget on legislative involvement.Applicants with faith-based affiliations must provide clarification on the integration of their religious beliefs into the project, outlining the extent to which such beliefs influence project implementation and outcomes.
