CFCM: Impact Grant

The Community Foundation of Central Missouri (CFCM) offers the Impact Grant, a $5,000 funding opportunity designed to significantly address critical issues in mid-Missouri. This grant focuses on human capacity development for disadvantaged individuals or arts initiatives. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations based in central Missouri and operational for at least five years. Projects may target equal opportunity, education, and senior services, among others, adapting to community needs over time.

CFCM has prioritized funding to address many community needs.
Impact Grants allow the Community Foundation of Central Missouri (CFCM) to have a greater effect in the mid-Missouri area with a more significant allocation, specifically, one $5,000 award.
The Impact Grant partners CFCM with an agency to address an issue in a significant way.The Impact Grant award will center on one of the two following CFCM priority areas: human capacity development, especially for disadvantaged persons, or the arts. Projects proposed for the arts might focus on education in theater, dance, music or visual arts, or other.Projects proposed for senior services might focus on transportation, delivery, health/respite care, home care, etcIn the future, the area of focus for the Impact Grant may change.

Eligibility

Eligible applicant organizations must hold 501(c)(3) status and must have their main office and provide services in central Missouri.Applicant organizations must also have been operational for at least five years.So as not to leave agencies out of any/all grant opportunities, applications may be submitted for both a Community Support Grant and an Impact Grant. Agencies seeking an Impact Grant that are unsuccessful might have another chance to receive CFCM grant funding. Agencies may not be awarded both a Support and Impact Grant in a single year.

Ineligibility

No grants will be made to individuals, political parties, candidates, or political activities.
