Summary
The Ceres Charitable Foundation aims to improve educational infrastructure and provide medical support in developing nations. The foundation funds new schools and supports existing educational programs while ensuring that medical procedures are life-changing yet non-invasive. By collaborating with NGOs and community organizations, Ceres targets resources effectively to combat declining literacy rates and ensure educational opportunities for all children, regardless of gender. This commitment fosters sustainable growth and empowers communities in need.Overview
Our Mission The goal of Ceres Charitable Foundation is to provide infrastructure funding for the development of new schools, financial support to existing educational programs, and grants to support non-evasive, non-life threatening, but life changing medical procedures in developing nations. What We Do By working closely within targeted communities Ceres's seeks to provide the highest value of service and results possible by applying financial resources directly to educational or medical projects and programs in developing nations, thus eliminating potential dilution of resources through overhead or possible corruption. Ceres will work closely with existing Nongovernmental Organizations (NGO's) as well as other charitable groups when goals are co-aligned or Ceres determines other organizations are in better position to manages resources. Why We Do It Since the end of WWII the world has experienced a steady increase in both literacy rates and percentage of children completing primary education worldwide. Now, even as the world is experiencing astronomical increases in wealth and rapid globalization of trade, literacy rates and the percentage of children complete primary education worldwide is slowing and in danger of reversing. Right now we live in a world in which there is a true danger that the percentage of adults in the world who've actually received a 5th grade education maybe be lower in 20 years than it is today. Who We Do It For The Ceres Charitable Foundation is not associated with any governmental organizations. We do not seek to push or support any political agenda. We are a non-secular, non-faith based charitable organization, although we believe religious faith can play a very important role in a persons life, we believe faith is purely an individual matter. Our decision to support programs is based solely on the following criteria: Educational Grants Is there a true need?Does the program have the support of the community? Is there enough experience in the local community to ensure success? Is the project inclusive to girls? (Ceres only supports programs which seek to educate all children regardless of gender) Medical Donations Will the end results have a dramatic and enabling impact on individual lives?Does the managing organization have the experience and expertise to accomplish their goals?Do they have a proven track record of successfully managing their projects?Do they have an historical expense ratio lower than 15%?Eligibility
