Purpose: Recognizes policy advocacy by students within their schools and communities that advances the principle that reproductive rights are human rights which those in power must respect, protect, and fulfill.

Award Amount: $250 cash prize

Recurrence: Given on an ad hoc basis (specific calendar cycle not provided)

Eligibility

• Student groups engaged in reproductive rights advocacy
• Work at schools and within communities
• Demonstrated dedication to promotion of reproductive rights and social justice

Focus Areas

• Policy advocacy supporting reproductive rights
• Community organizing and education
• Partnerships with community-based organizations
• Work with medical professionals and advocacy groups
• Programming on reproductive justice issues including:
- Access to abortion - Sex trafficking - Women's health policy - Judicial bypass procedures - Abortion fund management
