Celebrate Urban Birds Mini-Grants

Celebrate Urban Birds Mini-Grants aim to foster community-led educational events that promote equity and inclusion in birdwatching. By providing funding between $250 and $2500, the initiative supports organizations from underserved communities in Canada, the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. The grants prioritize projects that involve bird observation, habitat improvement, and integration of arts and culture, ensuring that historically marginalized voices are included in conservation and citizen science efforts.

Thank you for your interest in the Birds, Equity, and Culture mini-grants  from Celebrate Urban Birds! These mini-grants promote educational events centered on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in birdwatching and ornithology. We will prioritize community-led applications from underserved communities that share their local knowledge and expertise and emphasize culture and the arts.
