Background: CCRES is a local nonprofit organization formed in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit in 1999 to provide educational and behavioral health services. CCRES invests in communities by providing grants to nonprofits throughout their service territory.

Funding Priorities

The CCRES Board of Directors established the following funding priorities:
• Regional Education Services
• Community Services for At-Risk Youth
• School Projects Focusing on Student Development
• School Projects Focusing on Student Achievement

Types of Funding Available

• Project/Program: Funding for specific initiatives or new endeavors (not general operating support)
• General Operating Support: Funding for general purposes of an organization including personnel, administration, and other expenses for existing programs
• Challenge Grants: Funder sets fundraising goal for grant seeker to reach; reward if met
• Capital Grants: Funding for construction or equipment

Award Amount

Typical Range: $1,000 - $5,000. CCRES will consider larger requests if extenuating circumstances warrant.

Matching Funds Requirement

Required: Matching funds (a specific dollar amount that the grantee or other outside party contributes to the project) are required. Exceptions for in-kind contributions may be considered.

CCRES does NOT consider inquiries from or for:
