Through the support of its donors and fund holders, the Foundation has been able to address some of the community’s most pressing needs, including hunger, veterans and education. Grants to Support Small Nonprofit Organizations The Community Foundation invests in small and grassroots nonprofit organizations making a big impact in Southwest Florida. Grants are considered for community projects and to help organizations become stronger. These are one-time grants. Funding is not intended to extend beyond one year.

Eligibility

Organizations serving at least one of these counties: Lee, Collier, DeSoto, Charlotte, Hendry, Glades, and Sarasota. Operating budget of less than $200,000
