CBT: Arts and Culture Program - Mentoring / Master Classes Grant

The CBT Arts and Culture Program provides funding for mentoring and master classes aimed at enhancing the skills of artists in the Basin. Supported by the Columbia Basin Trust, this initiative offers grants to individuals and organizations dedicated to artistic development. Projects must prioritize quality mentoring opportunities delivered by recognized professionals, ensuring that artists receive specialized training and support to elevate their craft.

Arts & Culture Funding Programs
If you have an idea that focuses on arts and culture, this program could help support it. Grants from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance (CKCA) are available for all art disciplines, for both individuals and arts and culture organizations. CKCA is a project of the West Kootenay Regional Arts Council and funded by Columbia Basin Trust.
Objectives:
Help groups provide quality mentoring opportunities to artists with an advanced level of training in their field. Participants in mentoring and master class programs should have specialized training in the skill being taught and are committed to devoting more time to the skill when financially possible.

Eligibility

Funding is available for:Projects that provide artistic or cultural mentoring or master classes to Basin artists, provided by instructors or mentors who are recognized professionals in their fields.
