Grant Applicant: The applicant must be a United States based non-profit organization entitled to exemption from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Geographic Interest: Grants are primarily given, but not limited to, Catholic organizations (including domestic and foreign missions) located in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Ineligibility

Restrictions: Grants to individuals, scholarships, endowments and fellowships will not be considered. Grants will not be given to supporting organizations having a 509 (a) (3) status under the Internal Revenue Service Code. Grants will not be used as reimbursement for previously purchased items. Grants are not given for salaries, administrative expenses or matching funds. Grants will not be provided for non-U.S. based organizations. Grant funds may not be used for taxes or shipping and handling charges. Grants will not be considered for demonstration projects or capital campaigns. Grants will not be awarded to the same organization or project on an ongoing basis. Grant funds cannot be used to carry out propaganda, to attempt to influence legislation, to engage in any activity which would influence the outcome of any specific public election or to carry on any voter registration drive.
