NOTE: Grant applications are reviewed six times a year during meetings held the 4th Monday of every other Month (Feb-Apr-Jun-Aug-Oct-Dec). Applications must be received by the first day of any meeting month to be placed on the agenda. Grant applications must be submitted before the event or project commences. Mrs. Catherine Deardorf established the Catherine Vincent Deardorf Charitable Foundation, a private 501(c)3 foundation, in February of 1993. Since its inception, the foundation has granted over $9 million to Webster County entities. The fine arts, education, libraries, and parks have been the key recipients of funds with non-recurring and broadly inclusive programs preferred. The foundation has a particular interest in linking community members, meaningful projects, and funds for the enrichment of all.
