Mrs. Catherine Deardorf established the Catherine Vincent Deardorf Charitable Foundation, a private 501(c)3 foundation, in February of 1993. Since its inception, the foundation has granted over $9 million to Webster County entities. The fine arts, education, libraries, and parks have been the key recipients of funds with non-recurring and broadly inclusive programs preferred. The foundation has a particular interest in linking community members, meaningful projects, and funds for the enrichment of all.
