Career and Technical Education (CTE) Revitalization Grant Program

Background: This grant program was established through the passage of House Bill 3362 during the 2011 Oregon Legislative Session. AGC and industry allies secured $2 million in funding earmarked for career and technical education opportunities. The bill was unanimously approved by both the Oregon House and Senate.

  • Give students required skills for Oregon's high demand and high-paying jobs

  • Spark innovation and foster partnerships between schools and industry
  • Key Purpose: Strengthen the construction industry's future workforce by developing career and technical education opportunities

    Related Initiative: The legislation also eliminated legal impediments to establishing charter schools similar to the Academy for Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE Academy).
