    Eligibility

  • Organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity
  • Applicants not selected for final review will be notified by March 1 to allow submission of a Foundation Grant Request (Project Grant)
  • Note: Application may only be submitted if not applying for Project Grant in the same year

    Application & Review Process

  • Submission Window: March 31 - May 16 (annual, new timeline as of 2025)
  • Notification of Final Review Selection: By March 1 (if not selected)
  • Final Review: Selected applicants may present to Capital Grants Committee (max 30 minutes) followed by optional site visit
  • Board Vote: Grants Committee presents recommendations to full Board
  • Final Notification: No later than September 26
  • Appeal: No appeal available; Board decision is final and at sole discretion of Landfall Foundation

How to Apply

Capital Grant Application Process

1. Complete Online Application
- Use Google Forms via G-Suite (electronic process only)
- Must sign in with Gmail account (will be prompted to create if needed)
- Application available online only: March 31 - May 16 (annual)

2. Upload Required Documents
- Current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt letter
- Financial report
- Board of directors list
- Project budget
- (Instructions provided in application form)

3. Await Initial Review Decision
- Applicants not selected for final review notified by March 1
- If declined, applicant may submit Project Grant application

4. Final Review (if selected)
- Presentation to Capital Grants Committee (not to exceed 30 minutes)
- Site visit may be scheduled (at foundation discretion)
- Provide additional information as requested

5. Board Consideration
- Grants Committee presents recommendations to full Board
- Board discusses and votes on recommendations

6. Final Notification
- Applicant notified by Capital Grants Committee Chair no later than September 26
- Decision is final; no appeal available
