Overview

Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program - Toxicology Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID): Crime Laboratories Grant funds shall be used to improve and advance the standardization of practices in Toxicology Crime Laboratories supporting DUI/DUID projects to aid in the enforcement of traffic laws related to driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs, including cannabis and cannabis products. Grant funds shall be used to implement new activities or augment existing funds, which expand current activities. Requested services, equipment, and supplies shall be in direct support of grant-funded Project activities that aide in the enforcement of laws related to driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs, including cannabis and cannabis products. Funding Available Project funding is approximately $11 million, with a $2 million cap, per Grant Application. The Grant Applicant must provide strong justification, measurable goals, and an immediate need for all requested budget items as part of the Project.
