Program Description
CANERS provides scholarships to high school students who are planning to attend college majoring in a horticultural field. Since 1989, the organization has funded over $1 million in scholarships for students pursuing careers in horticulture.- High school students planning to attend college
- Majoring in a horticultural field
- Academic performance: While grades are important, a B student who participates in horticulture-related activities may be selected over an A student who does not participate in related activities
- Must participate in horticulture-related activities (FFA, 4-H, or other related activities preferred)
Eligibility
- Current school year letters of recommendation (email letters are NOT accepted; must be on school letterhead)
- Current transcripts
- Computer-generated transcripts (not printed by school admissions office) must be signed by horticulture instructor

- Current transcripts
- If using computer-generated transcripts, ensure they are signed by horticulture instructor
3. Submit Application: Submit completed application with all required materials to CANERS Foundation
