Cameron Regional Medical Center Scholarship

Scholarships for graduating high school seniors entering a healthcare field of study on a full-time basis.

Geographic Scope: Primary service area: Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, and Harrison counties in Missouri. One additional scholarship available for CRMC employee's child (no geographic restriction).

Award Structure:

• One $1,000 scholarship per county (Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Harrison)
• One $1,000 scholarship for CRMC employee's child
• In case of ties, awards may be split between multiple students within a county

Eligibility Requirements:

• Graduating high school senior
• Entering a healthcare field of study on a full-time basis in upcoming fall
• Residency requirement: Must reside in Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, or Harrison County in Missouri (exception: CRMC employee's children exempt from residency requirement)
• Minimum ACT score of 20
• Selection based on: high school GPA, goals, school/community involvement, earning/saving efforts, and demonstrated need

Renewal Eligibility: Scholarships are renewable for three additional years if:

1. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better maintained
2. Continuing enrollment in acceptable healthcare field of study
3. Applicant initiates renewal by providing proof of above criteria by August 1 of each subsequent year

Application Process

Deadline: Application must be postmarked to CRMC no later than Friday, April 3, 2026, OR hand-delivered to CRMC no later than 3:30 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Important Note: "There will be no exceptions to any of the above guidelines, criteria, and/or deadlines."

Required Steps:

1. Download the scholarship application from the CRMC website
2. Complete all application materials thoroughly (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY)
3. Submit by one of two methods:
   • Mail: Postmark to CRMC by April 3, 2026
   • Hand-delivery: Deliver to CRMC by 3:30 PM on April 3, 2026

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum ACT score of 20
• High school grade point average
• Statement of goals
• School and community involvement
• Earning and saving efforts
• Demonstrated financial need

Post-Award Requirements:

• Proof of enrollment must be submitted to educational institution for payment processing
• For renewal: Proof of 3.0+ cumulative GPA and continued healthcare field enrollment required by August 1 annually
