Cambridge Savings Bank Sponsorships Grant

Cambridge Savings Bank offers sponsorships to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations serving low-to-moderate income residents in Middlesex, Suffolk, Essex, or Norfolk counties. Their focus areas are Affordable Housing, Shelters and Transitional Housing, and Food Insecurity. Requests must be program-specific, and they typically provide one donation per organization each year. Applications should be submitted at least 60 days before any promotional deadlines. Organizations that discriminate or focus on funding other foundations will not be considered.

NOTE: Requests must be received either 60 days before the deadline for including the CSB name on any promotional items and/or 60 days prior to non-profit’s deadline for funding.

At Cambridge Savings Bank, every employee is given 16 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer at an established non-profit organization.
Cambridge Savings Bank is committed to supporting organizations in the communities we serve, primarily focusing on Human Services, Affordable Housing, Community Development and Civic Initiatives.
Human Services
For organizations that provide basic human needs for low-to-moderate income individuals and families, including food, shelter, heath care, job training, financial education, small business support and first-time home buyer assistance.
Affordable Housing
For programs that preserve low-to-moderate income housing units and projects that create low-to-moderate income housing units.

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizationMust serve low-to-moderate income residents in the following counties: Middlesex, Suffolk, Essex, or NorfolkThe request must be program/project specificIf a donation request is approved, we typically make up to a maximum of one donation per non-profit per calendar year

Ineligibility

Funding Requests will not be Considered from:Other foundations
Relatively new entities or initiatives
Requests that benefit/support a single individual or family/families
Organizations or events which are not open to members of the general public
Political, advocacy, governmental, fraternal, labor groups
Religious organizations, unless the program supports, and is open to, the community
Trips and tours by groups or individuals, or traveling teams, including transportation costs
Organizations with the primary purpose of raising funds to distribute to other organizations
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, age, gender identification, genetic information, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, veteran status, disability or other characteristic protected by law.
