Focus: Field building activities intended to help increase the amount, effectiveness, and impact of catalytic capital investments, including research, networking, peer learning, and activities that equip investors with knowledge and tools needed.

Program Overview

C3 Grantmaking program awards approximately $10 million in grants over three years to support multiple streams of work:
• Research strengthening evidence base
• Networking and peer learning
• Field building activities
• Support for identifying and dissusing best practices
• Development of informational resources
• Convenings and stakeholder engagement

• Catalytic capital investments by foundations, development finance institutions, family offices, and ultra high net worth individuals
• Identifying and sharing catalytic capital best practices
• Developing informational resources
• Hosting convenings
• Strengthening and expanding use of catalytic capital in global impact investment field
