Purpose: Honor Professor C. Ladd Prosser's outstanding scientific contributions to comparative physiology and his service to the society. Provides partial support for divisional or society-wide symposia at annual SICB meetings.

    Application Process

    Symposium Selection:
    1. Program officers from any division may submit request to SICB Program Officer
    2. Request to have upcoming symposium designated as "C. Ladd Prosser Symposium"
    3. All requests in a given fiscal year reviewed by Finance Committee
    4. Finance Committee determines which requests meet award criteria

    Award Authorization:

  • SICB Program Officer may authorize reimbursement of appropriate speaker expenses

  • Expenses must be for symposium speakers attending the meeting
