Geographic Scope: Wasco, Skamania, Klickitat, and Hood River Counties in the Columbia River Gorge region

Focus Areas: Food insecurity, youth services, vulnerable populations (families, seniors, children, people in transition)

Recent Priority: As of 2020, grants are dedicated to addressing food insecurity, including pandemic-related food security needs

• The Dalles Farmers Market (SNAP program implementation and fresh produce access)
• Hood River Farmers Market (matching incentive programs)
• FISH Food Bank (food purchases)
• Oregon Food Bank (food acquisition, storage & distribution)
• White Salmon Valley Education Foundation (food for families)
• The Food Bridge Project (greenhouse supplies for farms)
• Back Packs 4 Kids (weekend meals and farmer's market vouchers)
• Stevenson-Carson Educational Foundation (school meals)
• Washington Gorge Action Programs (area food banks)
• CultureSeed (trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness programs)
• Columbia Riverkeeper (bilingual signage projects)
• The Next Door Raices Program (community garden supplies)

Application Consideration: Unfunded applications from Burchell program become available to Donor Advisors for potential funding
