Building Support Funds

Overview: The Fort Osage Education Foundation is committed to enhancing student success by providing targeted support for one-time needs in every building. Each year, the Foundation allocates a specific dollar amount per student to help meet essential needs.

Purpose: To ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally, fostering a supportive and equitable learning environment across the district.

Geographic Scope: All Fort Osage School District buildings, Independence, Missouri

Eligible Recipients: All students in Fort Osage School District

Funding Focus Areas:

  • Attendance incentives

  • Other essential student needs
  • Current Supported Programs:

  • Lewis & Clark Academy and Fort Connect: $80 for attendance incentives (2025-2026 school year)
