Browning Kimball Foundation Grant

Foundation History
Matt S. Browning and Barbara Kimball Browning founded the Browning Kimball Foundation in 1978. It is a unique private foundation dedicated to reaching out to charitable organizations that improve the quality of living for people and communities throughout Montana.
The Directors are sensitive to the needs of communities, large and small, and look for mission statements that enhance living conditions for people with all levels of abilities.

Foundation Policies
In an effort to promote good governance and fundraising practices, the Browning Kimball Foundation may limit grants to four (4) successive years. At that time, the Board may decide to cease funding. Browning Kimball Foundation grantees are encouraged to maintain a large funding base and not become reliant on one funder.
