Bright Ideas Education Grant Program
Funder: North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives (26 cooperatives statewide)
Overview: A shared initiative created in 1994 to bring learning to life in classrooms across North Carolina and support projects that may otherwise not be funded. The program has collectively awarded nearly $16 million in grants, supporting more than 14,700 projects and benefiting close to four million students statewide.

Application Requirements
As part of the application process, teachers must submit:- Early bird deadline: August 15 (for consideration in drawing for $100 gift cards)
