Overview: A $1,000 college scholarship is awarded to the winner of the Youth NABC Sportsmanship Award, determined by peer nominations based on fairness, self-control, respect and courtesy.

Eligibility:

  • ACBL Youth members

  • Age 20 and under

  • Fewer than 5000 Masterpoints

  • Selected by peer nominations for exceptional sportsmanship

    • Selection Criteria: Fairness, self-control, respect, courtesy, and ensuring everyone enjoys the game and the experience of playing

    Geographic Scope: United States and Canada only

    Key Details:

  • Funds can only be disbursed to universities, colleges, and secondary education facilities in the U.S. and Canada

  • All scholarship funds are disbursed to the educational institution and cannot be disbursed directly to an individual
