Break the Hate Challenge This is your moment. If you're done playing nice with hate, if you want to call it out, tear it down and refuse to shut up...we have a challenge for you. Hate has gone viral. From racism and xenophobia to antisemitism, anti-Muslim bigotry, misogyny, and attacks on the LGBTQI+ community—intolerance is exploding. Fuelled by algorithms, echo chambers, apathy and fear, hate speech is spreading faster, louder, and uglier than ever before. Hate is deafening us to a point where we can’t even hear each other. While this might have become the norm, it's not normal. It's time to turn up the volume on empathy and break hate. At the One Young World Summit in Montréal, we were proud to give the stage to PACT!, a new movement for radical goodness on a mission to make hate socially unacceptable. PACT! and One Young World are coming back together to launch the Break the Hate Challenge. This award goes to the ones who don’t flinch—who fight hate with bold ideas, loud voices, and absolutely no apologies. Funding Three winners will Receive full funding to join the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich. Get the opportunity to present their work to leaders from 190+ countries at the Summit.
