Overview

BISSELL Pet Foundation awards grants to organizations that actively help reduce the number of homeless animals through spay/neuter, microchipping, and/or adoption. Eligibility: the applicant must be an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit (or a public/local-government entity) located and operating within the 50 United States, in operation at least 1 year, a member in good standing of BPF's Partners for Pets (P4P) program for at least 6 months, and must microchip all dogs and cats it adopts out; organizations that declaw cats are ineligible. BPF will not fund general operating/overhead, salaries, professional development, advertising, equipment purchases, fundraising/events, capital campaigns, start-up costs, grants to specific individuals/animals (excludes Grateful Pet), wildlife/marine rehab, or lobbying.
