Bill Waite Scholarship Grant

The Bill Waite Scholarship, offered by The San Diego Foundation, supports high school seniors and college students who have participated in San Diego County sailing teams. The Bill Waite Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors and current college students who are or have been members of a San Diego County high school sailing team and/or junior sailing program. Eligible applicants must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited public or private four-year college in the United States in the fall. Minimum GPA requirements are 3.0 (unweighted) for high school seniors and 2.5 for current college students (on a 4.0 scale). The award recognizes both academic achievement and dedication to the sport of sailing.
