We steward $254 million in philanthropic assets for the Sacramento region and, since 1983, have awarded $275 million in grants and scholarships on behalf of area donors. Bike Safety and Awareness Grant The Bike Safety and Awareness Grant will support programs that educate the community on bike safety and bike and vehicle coexistence. The Foundation intends to award two grants, up to $8,500 each. Grant requests must specify how much funding is requested and how the funds will be used. About The Grant A Foundation fundholder, Tim, created this opportunity in honor of his wife, Maggie, who valued and advocated for bike transportation safety during her life. The pair met at CalTrans, where Maggie became the bicycle safety coordinator and worked diligently to incorporate bicycle safety into CalTrans projects.
