Benson Fund for Senior Services in Placer County Grant

The Benson Fund for Senior Services in Placer County, established by the James & Virginia Benson Memorial Fund, aims to support nonprofits that provide essential services such as meals and transportation for seniors. Grants between $5,000 and $10,000 will be awarded to organizations primarily serving seniors in Placer County, with an emphasis on effective programs and maintaining tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3).

The James & Virginia Benson Memorial Fund for the Elderly of Placer County was established in 2002 to assist nonprofits with a focus on providing services to seniors. Grants will range from $5,000 to $10,000.

Eligibility

Ineligibility

Grants may not be used for capital campaigns, gifts to endowments, deficit funding, fundraising events, or direct assistance to individuals. Additionally, grants may not be used for political advocacy, legislative policy efforts, or to promote particular religious and/or spiritual beliefs. Grants will not be given to organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender, national origin, ethnicity, language, veteran status, sexual orientation, or disability.
