Behavioral Health Care Resiliency Fund
Overview: A loan fund providing capital to behavioral health providers in New York State to address COVID-19 pandemic impacts and support organizational resilience.
Geographic Scope: New York State
Funding Partners: PCDC, CDFI Fund, Robin Hood, OFN, and Google's Grow with Google Small Business Fund
Eligible Uses
The Fund covers expenses directly and indirectly attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as investments to support organizations as they prepare to serve their communities going forward:- PPE costs
- Staff (re)hiring and training
- Facilities redesign
- New EHR platforms
- Expanded technology
- Reorganized delivery models (e.g., tele-psychiatry)
- Temporary cashflow shortfalls associated with these events
- Applicant must be a NYS-licensed Article 31 or 32 provider (behavioral health/mental health clinics and alcohol/substance abuse treatment clinics)
- Required information includes: - Evidence of past financial performance - Management and organization descriptions - Details about why the loan is being requested
Eligibility
- Improving telehealth operations
- Billing and coding
- Care integration models that include telemedicine
- Creating a safe environment for patients and staff
- Triaging patients for engagement
