BCBSND: Maternal Health Grants

The BCBSND Maternal Health Grants offer $5,000 to nonprofit or community-based organizations in North Dakota aiming to reduce maternal health disparities. These grants support initiatives that improve care access before, during, and after pregnancy, including prenatal and postpartum services. Maternal Health Grants — $5,000
To reduce maternal health disparities and improve maternal health outcomes across all communities in North Dakota, our Maternal Health Grants provide funding to support nonprofit or community-based organizations. These grants help narrow gaps in care before, during and after pregnancy, making a tangible difference in the lives of women and their families. These awards are fueled by our commitment to help drive change in maternal health ranging from prenatal care to lactation support, access to postpartum mental health care and more.

Eligibility

Must be a North-Dakota-based organization or serve North DakotansBe a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, municipal entity or school systemSupport our mission and align with our funding priority areasApplicants can apply once per category per calendar year. Applicants may only receive funding once per calendar year.

Ineligibility

We do not fund:Programs that do not support our mission of improving the health and well-being of North Dakotans and their communities Individuals for any purpose General operating expensesReligious organizations for religious purposesPolitical purposes or lobbying activities Full-time or part-time employee positionsCapital campaigns, endowments or other discretionary funding poolsOrganizations outside North Dakota or funds spent outside of North Dakota
