Program Details:

Eight-week summer program

Youth work on conservation and trail maintenance projects alongside Baxter State Park Trail Crew

Hands-on wilderness skills development

Focus on environmental career exploration

Work Projects Include:

Trail rerouting and maintenance

Bridge building and bog bridging replacement

Corridor definition and trail clearing

Drainage and water bar clearing

Technical trail building skills training

Learning Opportunities:

Technical trail building skills

Career workshops with professionals in fields including:

- Environmentalism
- Recreation
- Sustainability

Experienced mentorship from Baxter State Park Trail Crew
