US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

Must have received 501(c)(3) non-profit designation as of the application date and retain that status throughout the grant term

Must not discriminate on the basis of race, age, ancestry or national origin, sexual orientation, gender, physical or mental disability, or religion

Must not be a political organization, political action committee, or house of worship (accepts organizations with religious affiliations if the project is not specific to or primarily benefiting a religious group)
