Impact Grant - Track 2

Focus Areas:

• Innovative projects that apply or advance technology to address water issues relating to climate change
• Protection, restoration, and/or management of water and environmental resources
• Approaches to responsible land and water management
• Educational programs encouraging community participation in land and water management
• Projects that implement developed water and land management methods

Geographic Scope: United States-based projects only

Eligibility Requirements:

• US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
• Must have received 501(c)(3) non-profit designation as of the application date and retain that status throughout the grant term
• Must not discriminate on the basis of race, age, ancestry or national origin, sexual orientation, gender, physical or mental disability, or religion
• Must not be a political organization, political action committee, or house of worship (accepts organizations with religious affiliations if the project is not specific to or primarily benefiting a religious group)

• Innovative technology-driven projects addressing climate change and water issues
• Large-scale impact projects with multi-year implementation
• Projects with community benefit and scalability potential
• International implementation with domestic nonprofit organization

Project Examples:

• Climate-smart water system design
• Water harvesting and conservation systems
• Community-based climate adaptation strategies

1. Complete and submit the Impact Grant application form available on their website
2. Application can be opened in a new window for submission
3. Form submission available through their online portal

• Organization 501(c)(3) status documentation
• Detailed project description with focus on innovative technology application
• Climate change component and water issue connection
• Three-year implementation timeline and budget
• Community impact and scalability demonstration
• Collaboration and partnership information
