Baptist Health Allied Health Scholars Program

Overview: A work-integrated learning experience, preceptorship, and clinical rotation program for allied health students at partner institutions.

Geographic Scope: South Florida

Focus Areas: Work-integrated learning in the following allied health disciplines:

  • Athletic Training

  • Computed Tomography (CT)

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography

  • Emergency Medical Technician

  • Histotechnology

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

  • Mammography

  • Medical Assisting

  • Medical Technology

  • Nuclear Medicine

  • Orthopedic Support Technician

  • Phlebotomy

  • Radiography

  • Respiratory Therapy

  • Sterilization Technician

  • Surgical Technology
  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a degree program affiliated with Baptist Health

  • Clinically rotate at a Baptist Health facility

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Minimum cumulative or program GPA of 3.0

  • Acceptance and admission contingent on submission of all requested materials and meeting all eligibility requirements
