Overview: Annual award honoring Advanced Practice Provider (APP) excellence throughout Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group.

Focus: Recognizes Advanced Practice Providers who demonstrate excellence in collaborative care and have made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness.

Geographic Scope: Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group locations across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee

Eligibility

Who is eligible:

Any Advanced Practice Provider with one or more years of service or affiliation with:

- Baptist Medical Group
- Baptist Memorial Hospitals
- Baptist Health Sciences University

Eligible specialties:

Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)

Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)

Physician Assistants (PA)

Selection Criteria

Nominees will be judged on:

Exceptional clinical knowledge

Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members

Unwavering commitment to high-quality care for all patients

Commitment to the APP profession

Exceptional contributions in one or more of the following areas:

- Quality or process improvement
- Patient care innovation
- Trainee teaching
- Mentorship
- Community service
- Team-building

Note: Award finalists (one per entity) will require reference letters from two different care team members (office manager, precepting physician, or fellow APP)

Timeline

• Nomination Period: May 11 – July 17, 2026
• Deadline: Friday, July 17, 2026
• Winner Announcement: September 18, 2026 (at the APP Conference)
