Ball Foundation Skilled Trades SkillPointe Scholarship Grant

The Ball Foundation Skilled Trades SkillPointe Scholarship offers $2,500 for educational or training programs in Arizona and Oregon, addressing the skills gap in America. With a mission to upskill workers without requiring a four-year degree, the program has funded over 1,000 scholarships nationwide, resulting in a 95% training completion rate and a median income increase of $32,000 in the first year post-training. This initiative empowers individuals and strengthens the economy.

We’ve already funded 1,000+ vocational scholarships across 50 states and raised more than $5 million to create big opportunities for workers pursuing high-demand skills and the companies needing to hire them. We’re redefining scholarships, making awards at scale, and channeling trained workers into high-demand careers that don’t require a four-year degree.
Over 95% of scholarship recipients complete training. Median post-training income increase is +$32,000 in Year 1.

Eligibility

To be considered, candidate must comply with the following requirements:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution or training program in or in the surrounding communities of: Phoenix, AZ or Millersburg, OR.
• Show interest in a career related to manufacturing.

Eligible Programs and Career Pathways include: Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Business Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, Injection Molding, Machine Automation, Machine Operation, Manufacturing Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), Mechatronics, Process Technology, Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Quality Control & Assurance, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Warehousing, Material Handling, or other manufacturing-related specializations.
Scholarships must be used within 1 year of acceptance.

Ineligibility

Employees and/or spouses or dependents of employees of Ball Corporation are not eligible to apply.
