Azura Employee Foundation Grants

Funder: Azura Employee Foundation (100% employee-led contributions)

Award Amount: Up to $10,000 per grant (committee retains discretionary flexibility on actual amounts awarded)

Geographic Scope: Nonprofit organizations or community groups serving:

  • Shawnee, Franklin, or Johnson County

  • Topeka, Lenexa, Mission, Olathe, or Ottawa, Kansas
  • Program Focus: Supporting nonprofits providing much-needed services to improve communities in Northeast Kansas

    Background: Since 2018, the foundation has donated over $103,500 to community organizations. Each year, the AEF donates approximately $20,000 to the community through an eight-member committee that reviews applications and makes funding decisions.

      Eligibility

    • Nonprofit organizations or community groups
    • Must serve Shawnee, Franklin, or Johnson County and/or one of the target cities
    • Established organizations with track record of service

      Ineligible Applicants/Use of Funds

      The AEF CANNOT fund:
    • Individuals
    • For-profit organizations
    • Capital projects
    • Debt reduction
    • Political campaigns
    • Conference attendance requests
    • Endowments
    • Programs that promote religious or sectarian activities

      Funding Cycles

    • Winter funding
    • Organizations receiving funds may apply again one full calendar year after receiving their grant
