Award for Excellence in Leadership

Overview: This award honors a woman whose academic leadership has made a significant contribution to her profession.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Female faculty member or university employee

  • Must have had a faculty role at Pepperdine University

  • Must have been employed by the University for 10 or more years

  • Must be a role model for academic leaders

    • Leadership Areas: Potential areas of leadership include but are not limited to:

  • Administration at University, school, and division levels

  • Offices in professional organizations and academic societies

  • Leadership in civic and service organizations

  • Leadership in scholarship, teaching, and university service

    • Recognition: Awardee is honored at the annual Women in Leadership Banquet held on Pepperdine University campus each spring
