AVID Donald Costa Scholarship The AVID Donald Costa Scholarship recognizes high-achieving AVID seniors in San Diego County who have been selected as either a “Senior Standout” or “Top STEM Scholar” by their AVID site team and senior AVID teacher. Applicants must have participated in an approved AVID program for at least three years, including their senior year, and plan to enroll at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States in the fall. The scholarship honors academic achievement, sustained AVID commitment, leadership, and college readiness.Eligibility

Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (3.2 or higher for “Top STEM Scholars”)Have taken two or more AP/IB courses and/or dual or concurrent enrollment in a college/university course (must appear on high school transcript or college transcript must be provided).
