Overview
Rocket Grants are mini-grants ($1,000–$5,000) for non-capital, heritage-tourism projects — trails amenities, history/interpretation, education, and arts/culture — for non-profits and municipalities in the state-certified Anacostia Trails Heritage Area boundary (Prince George's County, MD). Requires a 1:1 match (up to 100% may be in-kind: documented pro bono services, staff time, or volunteer hours). Accepted, reviewed, and funded on a rolling, first-come basis starting July 1 each year; ATHA reviews within 2 weeks and, if selected, awards within 1 month. 50–75% released on grant agreement; remainder on final report.
