ASNT Foundation: Faculty Grant

The ASNT Foundation's Faculty Grant aims to enhance nondestructive testing (NDT) education at US universities and colleges. By providing $10,000 in funding, this grant supports faculty in revising or developing NDT curricula. Recipients who are not ASNT members receive a complimentary one-year membership. The initiative focuses on improving educational quality in the NDT field, ensuring students receive top-notch instruction, thus paving the way for successful careers in nondestructive testing.

The mission of the ASNT Foundation is to advance the field of nondestructive testing through research, scholarship, and workforce development.
The Foundation will provide scholarships for individuals to complete education and training at technical training, community college, and university degree programs which help people prepare for entry or advancement within the nondestructive testing field. Scholarships will be endowed and administered internally by the Foundation as well as at selected institutions. The Foundation will provide grants. to individual faculty members and institutions to develop and sustain educational programs and curriculum in nondestructive testing. This would include grants to support the professional development of faculty and instructors.
The Foundation will pursue grants and other funds from government and other organizations for workforce development.
The Faculty Grant is designed to support faculty members of US universities and colleges in their efforts to enhance nondestructive testing (NDT) education. Funding
$10,000 in funding. Recipients who are not members of ASNT shall be given a complimentary one (1) year membership.

Eligibility

Faculty members from engineering or science programs at U.S. universities or colleges are eligible. No more than one (1) proposal per faculty member annually shall be considered.
