Overview

ASEV's traditional Scholarship Program supports students pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, or a science basic to the wine & grape industry. ASEV awarded a record $110,500 to 23 students in 2024 (and ~$107,500 to 25 in 2023); named sub-scholarships include the Mike Vail, James Wolpert and Dennis Martin Scholarships. Two top applicants each year also receive the ASEV Presidents' Award for Scholarship (~$12,500 each), selected from the same applicant pool.

How to Apply

Apply annually by March 1 via the ASEV Scholarship Program page (asev.org/scholarship-programs). Reviewed by the ASEV Scholarship Committee.
