American Society of Civil Engineers The Mission of the American Society of Civil Engineers is to “Deliver value to our members, advance civil engineering, and protect the public health, safety, and welfare”. East Central Branch, with its large group of passionate and involved leaders takes this Mission to heart, and through a busy calendar, has been able to host a variety of social and technical events that not only provide an occasion for our members to socialize, but also provide thousands of dollars for scholarships directed towards civil engineering students. Every year East Central Branch provides several scholarships to local civil engineering students who partake in our engineering community and who distinguish themselves for their interest in civil engineering and their academic results. ASCE ECB Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Scholarship The Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of the ASCE East Central Branch (ECB) is proud to announce the ASCE ECB SEI Scholarship. This scholarship is part of the SEI commitment to support Central Florida’s brightest minds for future careers in structural engineering. The ASCE ECB SEI will award one scholarship in the amount of $1,500 to an eligible student currently pursuing a career in civil/structural engineering field.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria: Currently registered full-time student majoring in Civil/Structural Engineering at a University within the ECB region.Is an active member of his/her local ASCE student chapter.Is currently in a good academic standing (G.P.A 3.0 or higher). You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.
